We are a non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of the Somali community both in Norway and around the world. Our association is run by dedicated volunteers who share a common goal of promoting social cohesion, community engagement, and cultural diversity.
One of our core activities is providing a wide range of counselling services to members of the Somali community. Our trained counsellors offer support and guidance to individuals and families dealing with issues such as mental health, domestic violence, and substance abuse. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care, and we strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for those seeking help.
In addition to our counselling services, we offer a variety of activities for both children and adults. These include language classes, cultural events, and sports activities. We believe that providing opportunities for community engagement and cultural exchange is crucial for promoting understanding and integration.
Finally, our association is also committed to humanitarian work both nationally and worldwide. We provide aid and support to Somalis affected by conflict, natural disasters, and other emergencies. We work in partnership with other organizations to deliver humanitarian assistance that is sustainable, impactful, and responsive to the needs of the communities we serve.
